Pluspunten
Members of management seem to care about the team (enough to fly from Maryland to Georgia). They are usually all smiles when they arrive and have walked into our work areas once to greet us in person. Our program manager is a very professional, polite and caring person. He has been with us for years, from the previous contract and in his time as a government employee, and he is very open and honest with us in how the management from Maryland feels about our team. The work environment is good, people don't bother us while we do our job and we don't bother anyone - which is how it should be.
Minpunten
I left Vor Technology in May 2018, almost a year after they won the contract I worked on, I moved over to a civil service job after leaving. I found out that Vor is not paying the workers properly, our team is covered under the wage determination and we are legally entitled to a much higher pay rate than what we are getting paid. I do not know if Vor is not getting paid properly themselves or if they are withholding our money and just not paying us, but in the past few months they have sent several people from the HR department down to talk to us about the benefits and how they were going to decrease. Either way, the company has not been upfront with the team at Warner Robins as to why we are getting paid almost $6/hr less than what they are entitled. I don't feel that this would happen if Vor was a local company instead of out-of-towners trying to manage us from Maryland.
