Reactie van Validity
6yhi, this is Mark, Validity's CEO. you know, this is a tough one to respond to, and i wish that this employee was comfortable sharing their experiences with me/HR/anyone so we could specifically work together to continue building our culture vs offering a rant that s/he believes will just fall on deaf ears. i'm listening and would love to work, every day, on making Validity great. all i can say is that we have several hundred people who love working together and would definitely describe our culture differently. the benefits we offer are competitive in each of our markets (we do an annual review of these - i see the results), United Healthcare is a very good national insurer (important because we have employees all across the US, and the world), and we try to be sure we have a balanced overall offering that takes care of all of our employees. with that said, i have never felt that our benefit package should be the reason why someone would want to work at Validity -- our culture, the team, the opportunity to personally make a difference and move the needle, the fast paced environment, the ability to be an owner of the company with stock options, the personal accountability and ability to advance -- these are reasons why i hope people chose to work with us at Validity (of course our benefits should be fair and good - and are! just not the primary thing that defines what is good about Validity). and, as part of our family, i hope that we each work together to improve our company every day. for this reviewer: i would be happy to talk with you to learn more about your concerns and work together with you to make our company better. if that is intimidating to you, i know our HR team and the rest of the management team would be happy to speak with you, as well. finally, with regards to your comments about EQ, this is an example of where i would hope we could each work to have each other's backs and give each other the benefit of the doubt -- let's openly and honestly talk about real concerns with an eye toward making things better and let's avoid being nasty to each other along the way -- that is how i think your colleagues would describe our culture.
