There is a complete lack of maturity and genuine effort in the VL Sales and BD department—everything in the company is for optics. There are many leaders and a complex hierarchy on paper, but no one is truly capable of handling the responsibilities assigned to them. Despite the presence of numerous Directors, VPs, and SVPs, none of them would be qualified for a managerial position outside of VL. The culture of optics was introduced by the CSO, who fostered favoritism and politics, which have polluted the overall culture and team spirit. The CSO frequently tells multiple stories in forums about the business he supposedly brought to the company, but in reality, he has never closed any new business. Lacking real experience, he ensures that no one questions him and has created strategies based purely on personal whims and fantasies. This approach has resulted in a significant waste of time ,resources and might be millions of company. The CSO had the entire team copying databases from various sources to Compass, which ultimately turned out to be a futile exercise. Campaigns were planned as though the company were in the SIM card-selling business. The outcome was disastrous, but the CSO painted a completely different picture to cover up his mistakes. As a result, the lead generation team is frustrated, having wasted an entire year’s worth of efforts. Many good leaders have left, and now only the CSO’s favorites - non performers remains, SLT speak only with LGM. They are so called sales leaders but least bother to understand what is happening on ground.They are living at onsite and in different time zone and enjoying the time - when they visit offshore during their christmas holidays , they meet only for dinner to click picture which they show that they are leaders. There is no seriousness when a LG generate a positive, IBs and digital spocs are not having required experience-most of the time they ruined the 1st discussion and positive never turned to be a lead. LGM only focus on KPI that number of positive has to be logged in compass so that numbers are met. company started good initiative in Ai -aide but there is no proper messaging - everything is very confusing whether to position aide as product or AI as service. when campaign failed and we told to our LGM and leaders that its not a right campaign and model we were asked only to focus on campaign - no one take feedback seriously in VL and work on improvement.
