Minpunten
Poor leadership and management team, uninspiring and unable to provide any other vision than a bigger company with higher revenue. The core values used to be a selling point but in reality, it's now all about revenue and maximising margins. Expansion plans are highly questionable, the roadmap is unachievable and only there to satisfy current investors who are now pressurising sales to get their money back. Past CEO was ousted abruptly in November and replaced with new CEO who left Cognizant with bad reputation. Upper management is incentivised by shares within the company, so many are staying for that rather than being passionate about what they are doing. A lot of blaming and finger-pointing when things don't go according to plan. Some groups feel very cliquey, which leads to a sense of exclusion if you're not part of the cool gang. No company culture to identify with, as people are scattered all over the UK. Redundancy waves are happening in a hidden way and regularly. Quarterly reviews are not conducted in an honest manner, with unethical management inteference requesting good performers to be rated lower than should be, so they don't get full bonus. Employees feedback is also used against them, rather than analysed to improve the company. Promotions are scarce. Multiple acquisitions with no real logic - in most cases, people from those companies leave very rapidly or are made redundant. It makes no real sense. Lack of diversity - a lot of middle-age men in white shirt everywhere, too few women in senior position.
