Pluspunten
My review here is based on and during the COVID-19 pandemic 1. WIKA did a tremendous job with their handling of the pandemic. They had excellent procedures in place to remove any chance an outbreak inside the building. 2. WIKA also had a very good plan to mitigate the loss in business by continuing to remain open and keep people hired on. 3. Office work is generally not stressful although the pandemic has added its own set off stressors. 4. I enjoy a good work life balance. My bosses are very understanding and extremely helpful. 5. You don't have the fear of being fired for mistakes. They are all considered learning and growth opportunities unless it is a blatant disregard for the rules and/or insubordination. 6. People are very nice and friendly. 7. There is constant communication between upper management and all employees with multiple town hall meetings. 8. Open lines of communication
Minpunten
1. WIKA allowed early retirement for individuals during the pandemic, which added additional work for departments across the company especially manufacturing and manufacturing support. This will probably be better once business picks back up and the company is able to hire more people. 2. Being in Georgia, I would expect all companies to observe MLK day. WIKA's first holiday is not until April when they observe Good Friday or Spring holiday. 3. PTO, Vacation, sick day are all one bucket which is a bummer. That should mean as a new employee you would start out with more but that's not the case.
