Minpunten
No real training. They assign you a trainer, but then they pull the trainer to another job and leave you alone. When you finally get released from training, they wonder why you only learned certain things. The employees are not very welcoming; they treat you as if you should know what you’re doing on your first day. Supervisors micromanage you all day. It’s so bad that they might as well do the job themselves. Crane operators don’t get any breaks. They expect you to run the crane for 12 straight hours. Everyone else gets three breaks a shift. Even if everyone knows you’re new, instead of helping you and telling you the right way to do things, they’ll tell the supervisor on you. Everyone is self-centered and doesn’t care about the next man.
