Decent compensation, got paid straight time for anything exceeding 40/hrs weekly.

Company-Wide: Growth at all cost mindset through acquisition destroys the product, creates inefficiencies which are not able to be sufficiently addressed, and forces a lot to get lost in the wind. Within my department: Detrimentally hourglass-shaped structure within my department. Large amount of senior/VP-level employees with next to zero input in production of design deliverables, and far too many junior designers/engineers. Mistakes don't get caught, and there's no real opportunity for productive mentorship. Many employees stagnate in this structure. Additionally, department head was extremely out of touch with the wants, needs, and recommendations of their most productive employees.
