- Really unpleasant environment for any neurodivergent or otherwise sound sensitive people. About 60 employees sit in a room together that is set up similarly to a classroom (everyone sits next to each other facing the same way). All conversations, meetings, phone calls, chewing, sniffling, whistling, etc. can be heard in all directions.
-Tech is slow and can be frustrating to use
-HR constantly emails reminding people about expected hours, lunch practices, dress code, etc.
-Management for engineering is overbearing and tends to impede progress instead of enhance it (for engineering, design management seems to be fine)
-No room for growth. There is essentially just one position available, do not expect promotions or raises.
-Vacation time and sick leave is on the stingy side. 5 state mandated sick days available, require Drs note to use. Vacation starts at 1-2 weeks/year for new hires, does not automatically increase on a schedule (have not tried requesting an increase)
