Minpunten

The CEO/Owner has branded herself as Latina CEO and cares more about her personal brand than she does Webhead or the employees. CEO is unprofessional. The development department is mismanaged which leads to poorly estimated projects, unrealistic deadlines and unneeded stress. Development department claims to be Agile but doesn't know what an SDLC is. No Comp Time!!! Does not honor employment offer letter. PTO accrual rate from offer letter was decreased during the middle of the year. Removed paid holiday(MLK) from holiday list a week before the holiday. Run like call center with 9-6 hours with a mandatory hour lunch at 12. Work from home is frowned upon because employees cannot be directly monitored. Start up story is all smoke and mirrors. Giving 2 weeks notice is not honored (plan accordingly).

The reasons why I think Webhead is a great place to work are: 1. From day one, the CEO of the company, Janie Gonzalez, has shown her support to her employees through luncheons, get togethers, socials, gift cards for Christmas, and general visits to each of our work locations on Ft. Sam Houston. I have shared with Webhead employees, and people interviewing for positons with Webhead, that this CEO has visited her employees more times in one year, than previous company's CEOs or Program Managers have visited over the length of the contract under which I was previous employed. 2. The overall Staff has been excellent, and will bend over backwards to support their employees whenever possible. Everybody at Webhead cares about their employees, especially during this pandemic. I know I can reach out to any staff member and I will be treated with respect and professionalism. 3. Webhead treats their people like a family, and strives to improve support to their employees whenever possible. This has been evident when a couple employees had difficult times with family and personal matters. 4. I would not hesitate in minute to recommend this company to anybody for employment.
