      Pluspunten

      Besides the nice activities, coworkers and managers, you can also decide how you want to distribute the money you make from working as a consultant, and how/when you want to switch to working somewhere else. A lot of freedom and support is given! Taking online courses/certificates is highly encouraged, which is nice when you’re inbetween jobs.

      Minpunten

      It can be the case that you have to wait for a while before getting an assignment when joining as a consultant. But that seems to be the case only in the beginning, and with more experience you can switch gigs quickly.

      - courses and training - you may be lucky with good project - very nice colleagues

      Minpunten

      - courses and training is in the evenings or weekends, off-line = meaning you pay for that with your private and family time - no pay for doctor appointment time, also with kids - no help if you face challenges at the project - no help if you are in conflict with someone - if you want to change project, you have to find new project yourself - if you are on a bench, you find new project yourself - salary is same as in-house, but all consulting risks are there
