Want to clarify that I'm speaking about AngelList Talent (not venture)
- Most people the client/sales org is awesome
- Flexible hours (fully remote)
- Really good health insurance, wellness stipend ($100/month)
- Fun offsites
Minpunten
- They do not take care of their salespeople (comp is not industry standard but they will tell you it is according to their "data")
- Very unclear how they come up with quota (they will tell you it's based on your book but the math will not make sense), they are also very high so you can't even hit it
- All over the place (lack of direction, client product feedback loop is weak, product/eng and client teams are very disconnected, product/eng are not making data-driven / revenue driven product feature improvements, I can honestly go on and on and on about this)
- During my time there were a few teams that were understaffed 24/7
- No clear growth path (they do not do a good job promoting people + giving people raises)
- Management is not empathetic, kind of defensive towards feedback / will solicit feedback and then not really do anything about it.
