This is a place that should offer support and teach the resident adolescents proper ways to live, however it is a place that many teens would love - they can come and go anytime, go to school or not, do as they are told or not, do drugs, have weapons (often because they feel unsafe from those on campus with them). The staff is too small, or too wrapped up in the politics; regardless the residents' health, livelihood, and future are being tossed to the side like trash. It is not a place fit to bear the word Methodist in its title. Sad, but true.

The people who work at Wellroot are top-notch -- warm, friendly, but also productive. They really cultivate a team atmosphere where people help each other. They really care about you as a person. They do monthly all-staff lunches so you get to know people in other departments. They are also genuinely want employees to have a healthy work/life balance and help to balance priorities. I was fairly compensated for my role, and the benefits package was good -- they do 401k matching up to 6%! In addition, they are doing wonderful work in the community -- it was a privilege to be a part of it!

Minpunten

Coming from a very small nonprofit, it was a bit hard to adjust to the larger size, but there are a lot of perks of a larger organization -- more people to carry all the work!

Hybrid, not many people in office if you like in person environments
