Weyerhaeuser pays well. In small parts of the company, there is freedom to build a culture of mutual respect, empowered teams and personal development.
Minpunten
There are only a few small parts of the company where you can affect the culture - the rest blows by you with their "100 year old company - good ole boys club" mentality and curbs enthusiasm for change that is desperately needed. The company seems to make poor decisions about what to keep and what to sell/divest. They sell businesses that make them money and keep the ones that are dragging them down. Communication is sub-par. Employees hear about what's happening at the same time the public hears about it.
