Clear favoritism to white staff
They over hire so you have to beg and fight for hours
If you’re not one of the favorites you’ll literally be left off the schedule until they NEED you , but since it’s a part time job based on productions needs you could end up not working for over a week which is not what they tell you when you’re being hired
There is absolutely no training whatsoever. They just start you and have you learn on the job but get upset with you for not knowing how to do the job already.
The older staff, who makes the schedule will put their significant others on the schedule cutting out other staff, which is a conflict of interest.
The lead staff drinks alcohol on the job and will ice you out if you don’t drink too.
You will not be respected on this job if you’re Black. Absolutely terrible working environment. They lie about the hours you’re going to work when you’re being hired too so you turn down jobs thinking this is more stable but it’s really not.
