Feedback on Onshore Team and Office Dynamics (UK and US): No Job Security: There is no job security at all. They can terminate your employment at any point and ask you not to come to the office the next day. They don't even provide a notice period, requiring you to leave within a day. Delayed Equipment Provision: It took two months to receive essential IT equipment like a laptop and mouse. Lack of Trust: There's a noticeable lack of trust from the onshore team towards the Indian office. Micromanagement: Constant interference in every minor detail leaves no room for autonomy. Office Politics: Office politics are rampant, impacting productivity and morale. Poor Work-Life Balance: There's no work-life balance; working 12-hour days is expected, or you're deemed inadequate. Unclear Expectations and Training: Expectations are unclear, and there's a lack of training on company operations. Task Delegation Issues: Onshore team members delegate their tasks without consideration, burdening the Indian team. Communication Confusion: If you ask the Indian team for help, they redirect you to the onshore headquarters, and vice versa. This confusion is prevalent throughout the organization. Time Zone Insensitivity: Meetings are scheduled without consideration for time zones, making it challenging to manage personal time. If you're unable to attend due to prior commitments, it may be perceived as unprofessional. Lack of Clarity on IT Support: There's a lack of clarity on whom to approach for IT or laptop-related issues. Overwhelming Pressure: The pressure to perform is overwhelming and unrelenting. Lack of Welcoming Culture: In India, colleagues don't engage or welcome new hires on their first day. They merely say "hi" and move on, without introducing themselves or inviting newcomers to join them for lunch. Outdated Practices: The company follows old British rules and is resistant to adopting new technologies and modern ways of working, which hinders efficiency and effectiveness. Accountability Issues in Marketing: The onshore marketing team assigns tasks but delays in checking the work, subsequently blaming the Indian team for any issues. Conclusion: Overall, I strongly advise against joining the company due to these significant issues.
