Writing this to warn other freelancers, I'd hate the same thing to happen to anyone else. For a company that boasts about the ability to control rates and availability, it is extremely disappointing the way they conduct business.

Minpunten

Work Sandy does not pay their freelancers. They are demeaning and insulting and have shown nothing but disrespect for the creative community.

At Sandy, we have a clear goal – to empower freelance talent to work on juicy projects, be fairly compensated, and grow their careers. If I was able to connect with you directly (or had more of an understanding of the specific incident that inspired this comment) I would do due diligence to address the criticisms. If applicable, I would also work to understand what “broke down” in the system and how we could minimize any of this happening in the future. We prioritize transparency and clarity in our talent. No pros. I worked for weeks and never got paid.

Minpunten

This place is basically a bad recruiting agency that pretends to be legit. I worked as a designer on one of their projects and they decided not to pay me at the end because they said the work wasn’t good enough but still took all the working files. Leaving this review for any other creatives or designers that might be considering.
