I had the opportunity to do many different kinds of projects so it was never boring and was able to experience a variety of roles. In a small company, each member of the team is important to bring your skills to the table and be open-minded in helping others in an organized manner. In doing so you learn quickly and increase your experience across the board instead of being locked into one role.

You cannot be idle doing one role. Each person must step up to work as a team. Deadlines are tight.

Small, fast paced, and entrepreneurial. There are no useless meetings and if you have a good idea you can be moving on it that afternoon. It is privately and family owned with a relaxed vibe despite the speed we are moving at. You are known and appreciated when you work here.

It is still in a late stage startup mode so systems and processes are being finalized. There is a heavy expectation that you be proactive in problem solving which I don't necessarily consider a negative myself, but for some people that want to be told what to do and not have to worry about improving things this can be a negative. Benefits are minimal due to the small size of the company, but the upside is they are improving as revenue and profitability increases.
