Executive leadership is absolutely like family. I joined the company right before they crossed 50 people. Anytime there was anything I needed (from equipment, time off, or even just a chat) the executive leaders always always always had an open door policy. I tend to be a borderline workaholic. For the first time in my entire career, my executive leaders advised me to live a better work life balance. Sure, things come up every once in a while, but that's normal in Software Engineering. Whats not normal is for it to become routine and I am thankful they put me in check early in my career rather than right before retiring. Again, as the title says "A Reflection of You". Its extremely refreshing to work for a company that see's value in you as a person and your work, promotes based on merit and not tenure, leaders lead by example, and most importantly treat employees as family and not as people coming in through a revolving door. One day when I start my own company, I will follow everything that has been shown by example.
