Recent years hired a lot of old school management people, who doesn’t do anything besides bringing in their whole kampung of “management ppl” in. Toxic culture in some managers highlighted but swept under the carpet, causing many good people to leave. The new management is unempathetic and treats people like disposables. Some managers are even verbally abusive with unethical practices conducted. People who asks or challenges perspectives are punished.
People are staying on only because the market is bad. But morale is extremely low, especially in the digital/product teams.
Growth is slow - unless you’re a “management” person. Rules can be bent for you in that case.
