Pluspunten
The people: ZS is successful in attracting the smartest young graduates from the country. Most people are willing to help each other out. Learning: The challenging work and and the high standards of quality ensure that the learning curve is indeed steep. You get to experience a lot of new avenues while also getting the opportunity to build expertise in an area of your liking. The brand name: The ZS brand name is valued very high in corporate circles and B-schools. A current student in a top IIM of India informed me that someone having more than a year of work-ex in ZS would assuredly get all consult shortlists during the placement process. Switching options: As the brand name is quite strong, you will have excellent options to switch to other top consult companies (even without a B-school tag). A lot of people join BCG, Mckinsey etc. after working a few years in ZS. Vice-versa is also true. You get ‘work’ here: Not something intuitive, but a lot of people join ZS purely because they have been sitting on bench in their earlier companies. I know a few people who left Wipro, Amazon, ONGC to join ZS taking a pay-cut of 20–25k. Flexibility: ZS offers flexibility in working style. E.g. in case of any personal urgent work in the morning, you can afford to come late and finish work later, provided your team is fine with it or your project is not nearing completion. You also get work-from-home and me-time (leaving office 2 hours early, available once a week) facility. Free food and transportation: ZS provides free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Also, ZS provides cabs for every employee for pick-up and drop to office and home.
Minpunten
work pressure at ZS is too much. An acquaintance ,who works at ZS,told that 10 hours of office is a dream for most people working at ZS.There is no work-life balance & you will need to stretch your working hours.Flexibility options are less.
