Pluspunten
Zero Motorcycles is a company in transition. During my time here, I would say a lot of strife was due to upper management, a common thread in other reviews. Due to reductions in the workforce over the past three years, many problematic voices are no longer here. There is a new sense of hope, though it is hesitant and small. While there is now room for growth and change, a company built upon following those loud voices does not know how to find its own.
A passionate group of individuals are still trying to make a great product. Compensation and benefit packages are significantly better elsewhere, but if you are consumed by motorcycles or the puzzle of packaging an EV powertrain in a compact space constraint, there is no place like Zero. Well, there’s also Stark, but you’d probably have to move.
Minpunten
There is still plenty of corporate turbulence. Tariffs, the move of the C-Suite to the Netherlands, copious programs vying for stretched resources, and plenty of others. The C-Suite relocation raises concerns of disconnect. The duration at which there will be presence in Silicon Valley is a question that hangs above many heads. While the physical location is unknown in 3 to 5 years, I am certain that the company will still be around at that time. It is still a company of great potential, and I hope it is able to meet it.
