Ziba's vison is outdated and ancient. People do not get empowered, there is a lack of real leadership that extends from the top, its a top down approach controlled by two brothers. Ziba Design has grown to become a company focused on the bottom line without a business model. It has lost its essence and forgot a creative company is about innovation. It has been consumed by its new large building, instead of focusing on its people. Projects are picked by the $$ not the opportunity. Young designers get brought in, under paid and not mentored, sincerely taken advantage of. Most of the talented experienced designers and creative directors have left to avoid the sinking ship, and have been replaced by marketing exec's that don't get ziba's core business: DESIGN. The two owners have different motives: One wants to grow and sell the company, the other wants to preserve his ancient legacy. Both are blindly unaware of why people are leaving. Never looking inward, just outward. I am still waiting for the correct opportunity to go somewhere and grow. It will be an interesting year of change or fail.
