Pluspunten
- Good colleagues - Nice campus - Great on-site subsidised restaurants - Interesting projects - Chance to work with new technologies
Minpunten
- Salaries could be higher to be more competitive - Always trying to do too much at the same time - At least from an IT perspective, permanent IT staff headcount is far too low to support project demand - Tendency to take shortcuts and race ahead without consideration considering requirements - Strong bullying culture to achieve deadlines - Deadlines often are arbitrary and have no commercial significance - Often projects are not planned properly, leading to half-baked requirements gathering, scope creep - Under constant pressure to deliver to production without work being fully tested - No understanding at the top level of how long projects should take - Management refuses to listen when things aren’t going well and when they do listen, they have selective hearing - Management aren’t able to manage expectations upwards - Too many layers of management for a company of this size - Company is built on a culture of fear - Technical debt is not taken seriously - Easily distracted by unimportant things - Tendency to bend rules/processes - 3-Tier class system (Contractors, Employees, Executives). Separate entrance for directors in all buildings - Miscommunication happens far too frequently - No long term vision, everything is a short term knee-jerk reaction
