Pluspunten

eQuest is a mainstay in the HR technology space. It has survived the "ups and downs", fads, trends and huge market-swings by staying true to itself and their approach to job delivery. The compliance product is the best of breed. The people are great and they are committed to innovating and building great products, despite the crazy CEO being a constant distraction and embarrassment.

Minpunten

Their CEO is borderline abusive. If you cannot handle a volatile work environment or being horribly micromanaged, then you should not work here. Pay is VERY low versus its market competitors. Benefits are non existent. (poor health, dental, vision). If you work here you will be verbally abused. You will overhear inappropriate and unprofessional discussions in the workplace. You will likely feel uncomfortable working here. Turnover is VERY high. They are always trying to "build something new" that is going to be the next huge money-maker. But it is almost always a flop. (most always because they are late to market with a bad product).

Pluspunten

Opportunity to gain hands on experience in a fast paced environment.

Minpunten

Lack of structure and clear communication from leadership made the role stressful and unpredictable. Expectations were often unclear or changed frequently, which made it difficult to succeed in the position. At times, the work environment felt unprofessional, and there was limited support or accountability from management. Management could be inconsistent and, at times, dismissive, which impacted morale. There was limited guidance or training, so employees were often expected to figure things out on their own. Work life boundaries were blurred, with after hours communication and urgent requests being common. Overall, the environment felt reactive rather than organized, which created unnecessary pressure.
