Pluspunten

-Thorough onboarding- as someone who hadn't worked for a start-up before, I wasn't sure what to expect on this front, and was pleasantly surprised. -Rewarding work- whilst my work is often challenging, I am really able to see the positive impact of what I do every day, which I find very motivating and rewarding. -Diverse and supportive team- there's a strong culture of knowledge sharing at ecoligo. I really feel that my development is prioritised, and I'm encouraged and empowered to learn and grow.

Minpunten

-Small (but growing) team- whilst this has many advantages in terms of quick and efficient decision making, it can mean we have to prioritise/deprioritise tasks due to capacity.

Pluspunten

I have worked at ecoligo a good number of years, experienced the growth and the fall. The best part has always been the atmosphere created by regular office people, The empowerment anyone would get to be accountable for their jobs and their decisions, as well as the flexibility given to get work done. I have learned a lot and had different positions. Always been given the trust from management on doing things myself.

Minpunten

I have not been a big fan of the company culture for some time. There has been an excessive effort to keep things nice on the surface, I guess a classic mistake of start-ups especially in Berlin. This led to allowing toxic employees stay for too long or not raise issues properly until it was too late. Probably also due to high management not being in the office as much, and not being aware / allowing certain patterns to stay. Salaries have also never really been something to highlight positively. Newcomers hired after financial rounds were getting higher salaries than people who were key for operations and had way longer tenure at the company.

Inclusive and diverse work environment geared towards fostering togetherness. Fun times.

Minpunten

Low pay and no salary increments. Limited opportunities for growth or development as an employee. High turnover rate. Business does not seem to know how to handle recessions and reduced investments since their entire business model is geared towards crowdfunding, plus, the expansion into new markets has mostly been misses.
