What it once was, hope it can recover. The good people still here.
Minpunten
Leadership and private equity are embracing a toxic work environment. Previously a customer first business with core values these have now gone out the window and all about cost cutting at the detriment of the brand, its operations and the wellbeing of employees (there are a few initiatives which for reasons not shared don’t have the same scrutiny of cost/benefit). No communication on strategy, and policies emailed out by a dictatorship, previous core objectives are no longer discussed yet everyone is micromanaged for attendance in the office and strict working hours. People previously put their heart and soul into Edyn and are now facing what appears to be a culture of ‘quiet firing’, they are either leaving to protect their mental wellbeing or trying to stick it out in the hope of redundancy and providing support for their teams and colleagues. Everyone is committed to saving costs where it’s needed and cutting the fat, but there are ways to manage this without belittling and bullying. It’s a sad end to what was previously a thriving forward thinking company that valued skills of employees and their commitment and courage to question.
