The Glassdoor reviews about edyn have been consistent and I agree with every word. I’ve been here for several years. It was never perfect, there were always ups and downs, but one thing that stayed constant was the people with a lot of passion for edyn and their roles. There used to be employees spending laods of their time and energy into making things better consistently. I’ve seen team members (myself too) from various departments spend countless late evenings in the office because they genuinely cared. Over the last couple years the teams gave all their heart and sweat building processes, improving ccommunication between departments, making the company more compliant, setting up proper onboarding, creating trainings and shaping their departments and the company into something worth being proud of. That’s all gone now. For the past 6 months or so the decline has been relentless, like a roller coaster but one that only goes down. The culture is dead. Morale is at rock bottom. Everything that was built over the years (structure, training & development plans, quality monitoring systems) has been gutted completely. We also went from being a modern company with two WFH days a week with some level of flexibility and trust towards staff members (because any modern company will understand that life happens and extenuating circumstances exist) to being forced into the office four days a week regardless of health issues, medical appointments, family emergencies, childcare issues or whatever was agreed with previous management and the distance living from the office. The CEO’s PA now tracks office attendance like we’re in middle school. She does an atrocious job, may I add. She constantly sends out emails chasing people for absences even when they’re on approved annual leave (something clearly visible in the HR system). How utterly embarrassing. And as if that wasn’t enough, the office is not DSE compliant and the PA very clearly either doesn't understand what DSE compliance is or prefers to pretend she doesn't. It has been proven many times that staff who are treated with respect will return it to the employee in terms of the levels of output but and the opposite is reflecting in edyn big time. We have not seen any payrises this year and our expenses increased with being made to travel to the office more frequently. We have not seen a penny of the great quarterly bonus scheme that is advertised in new job ads in many quarters. There hasn't been any company wide updates from the upper management since last year. It seems that staff engagement surveys were scrapped months ago too because clearly who cares. We are not stupid, we understand that company is going through changes but zero communication and the inhumane way of handling those changes is absolutely depressing. I stopped caring a while ago, as did most people but watching all that hard work from the past few years to be thrown away is sad. Unsurprisingly, the edyn's performance reflects the car crash that the company is right now. I do not recommend anyone to join this company. Regardless of what they tell you, you will walk into a workplace with crushingly low team morale where everyone around is so negative and it will not be fun. We’re already seeing new starters becoming stressed and feeling unsupported (not surprising, because the most experienced people were forced out or left and onboarding and support systems for newbies are gone along with them). I hope the CEO, CFO and CPO are proud.
