Minpunten

- iClick will, without a doubt, underpay you. As an account coordinator you are capped at 60-65k (ish) and will have to leave if you want more. Management of the ACs isn't great, the head hasn't worked the job for years and is unable to process a single order because they literally don't know how. I genuinely have no idea what they do for the company. How are you the head of a team if you don't know what they do? What kind of leader is so out of touch with their team they can't advocate for them? The closer manager of the ACs should probably be getting paid more, he's very hands off which is beneficial for this role. If you want something to change or someone to advocate for you, it's very unlikely. - Lon is the owner and is never there (because he lives in Colorado), which is why the majority of reviews have no opinion on him. The CEO, on the other hand is the next person in charge. We have a weekly meeting and in a time where every coordinator was stressed and skipping lunches, the CEO literally said "I was in Paris with my family last week and couldn't sleep because I was thinking how I could get my employees to work harder." And if that doesn't make you absolutely livid I don't know what will. - There is a massive disconnect between management and its employees. The industry itself is the worst- everything was needed yesterday and is your fault. The only pro are your coworkers who are mostly millennials who have degrees and passions not in this industry at all. iClick is a stepping stone company for most and that does connect us all - the truest phrase a sales manager told me. You should not need a bachelor's degree for this job in the slightest. - ACs were without heat for over a year. Despite the complaints no one did anything, until someone let it slip to Lon who actually fixed it for us. I mean really we blew out the circuits multiple times with our mini heaters, wearing gloves and all. - HR also incorrectly filed taxes and many of us owe money now. - During the pandemic 80% of the company was laid off. Considering the industry, we knew something was going to happen. But, it is worth noting we got no notice. - The verifiers are the people who make sure an order is all in order and talks to the customer to confirm timelines and quantity- in theory. It should be something automated at this point because it creates a LOT of unnecessary stress on everyone. ACs are mad because verifiers will incorrectly enter an order or not check stock and then we're blamed for it via clients calling in. I don't blame verifiers though, it's a mindnunbingly dull job and human errors are bound to happen. But it's something that can and should be fixed. Management will not fix it because they don't care about making your life easier and want to maintain the "human touch" - which, yeah, sure, but that results in errors. - The sales team is of a similar vibe to management. There is an air of "well we bring in the money so figure the rest out." - No room to grow. - Negotiate well to work here, because they will underpay you.
