Many managers are spineless and antiquated, more concerned about beating Miller Kaplan and hitting numbers versus your personal well being. There is too much micromanagement at all levels. There is a lack of respect for AEs, whom are often spread too thin with unrealistic workloads and expectations, and with constant direction changes, too many meetings, etc. we spend more time doing paperwork, processing and the like instead of selling. Company can be deemed hard to work with by advertisers, which causes us to lose unacceptable amounts of business to competitors. If you come to the company expecting good sales training, think again. Management always sees AEs as the problems. Pride and greed prevent them from seeing their own shortcomings. High AE turnover is no accident. What's the use of reporting problems to HR when nothing is gonna change?
