Pluspunten

I started at iSystems 10 years ago as a temp developer and since then have been offered many career growth opportunities, including management. I've also observed the same growth from fellow employees across several departments. Furthermore, in the last few years there has been a stunning growth to the company as a whole, with a significant investment made in both the quantity and quality of our workforce, along with impressive quality of life improvement. The work is engaging and pushing the limits of the industry, with tremendous possibilities for the future.

Minpunten

The main issue I have had working at iSystems have mostly been rectified in the last few yearsm but the massive growth and addition of several concurrent projects has led to some difficulty ensuring everyone is aware of progress for the various projects. This is something active being worked on, but there is still room for improvement.

Pluspunten

There are some wonderful staff that work at iSystems. The new building is a great place to work. It is dog friendly. A capable CFO was hired to drive the financial objectives of the organization. It is a challenging place to work, but iSystems has great products and customers.

Minpunten

Executive management team is indecisive and decisions often made beyond the point where they can be effective. No one is held accountable and often blame is assigned where it does not belong. Failure to obtain revenue equals lmajor cost reductions. As much as this is unavoidable to ensure financial health, sales staff should be placed on PIP, and sales executives should be held accountable for bad sales planning. Commitments made are often not achievable and can therefore not be upheld. There is a massive blame culture when objectives cannot be met. HR is unprofessional, part of the blame culture, share confidences and spread rumors. Work life balance is supposed to be great, however, many staff members are in fact working very long hours and have no work life balance.
