The kitchen is stocked with snacks. You're doing meaningful work, and they offer a monthly massage in-office (that’s a pretty unique and useful offering). The teams that executed everything (product/design, marketing, and facilities teams) were pretty great to work with, too.
Minpunten
To be quite honest, this company is not led well. Everyone on the leadership team (c-level employees) had equal say in every decision, which interfered with how teams were managed by their leaders, what products were offered, and the overall company direction. Also, a lot of feedback provided to them about their ideas and leadership style was stubbornly pushed aside, which consequently led to many of their programs falling flat. There was a ton of inconsistency with how employees were treated; they certainly had their favorites and even gave special treatment to certain employees to the point of promoting individuals whose work ethic and contributions were questioned by the people who worked directly with them (again, feedback arrogantly ignored). The leadership team even enabled entitled behavior from some of their members, one of which was mentioned in a previous review on this site. This added to the toxic environment within the office, which by the way, you were required to be in unless you had the perks of flexibility and remote working which were only given, again, to the leadership team and their favorite employees. One thing they loved to say to describe the company is “we’re building the plane as we fly it.” But I saw too often them throw away the working parts of that “plane”, and overlook the hard-working people who had good ideas to optimize the building process.
