Pluspunten
Very beginner friendly as no work experience is required and almost everyone is given their fair chance through the assignment. Extremely good work life balance, flexible hours is an absolute blessing that allows you to do anything if you need to during the day and compensate for it later in the day. Being fully remote (there are options for on-site but I personally didn't bother with it) means you have all the remaining hours of the day to yourself since you don't have to go down and use any form of transportation, I'm not a fit guy but I manage to go to the gym (company offers sports benefits after probation as well) after work since I'm usually not that tired after the working day as work is remote. The community overall is very friendly be it the project manager, your fellow junior colleagues or your team leads. You are able to learn a lot from your team leads based on the code review responses from them as well as the general interaction and guidelines they provide and there is always some knowledge sharing between you and your fellow junior colleagues leading to lots of personal improvements as a developer.
Minpunten
Probation period was a bit overwhelming considering this was/is my first job so I had to learn some general best practices in addition to the work itself. Hiring process is very long as there's an assignment followed by an interview. Initial salary is not lucrative for junior developers and may not be for everyone but salaries are reviewed twice a year depending on the performance.
