Corporate (Asurion, mainly) have completely lost focus on what these stores are (you know...repair shops) and demand that technicians also be insurance sales people Customers can be absolutely unreasonable, expecting literal magic in some cases - most people are actually very stupid about the tech they use every day, which can make the customer-facing part of the job very frustrating. For my fellow women, some customers will absolutely assume you just stand at the counter and look pretty/demand to talk to a male tech because they don't think you're capable/refuse to take you seriously.
