I met with an ACI executive who asked about my ability to write narrative proposals; how I would answer detailed proposals and what my experience working with disadvantaged businesses was. I asked about the business; retail concepts in the company's portfolio; their experience in airports; and other marketing needs surrounding the proposal-making process. The conversation was pleasant and I learned a great deal about airports, the work environment, and the leaders of the company. After the conversation, I made a contract proposal and my terms were accepted within hours. The next day, I wrote a contract, submitted my contract and set a meeting to sign.
