Sollicitatiegesprek
Started with a screening interview with HR. Then a mock usability session with a project manager. Had to deliver a mock screener, findings document, and moderator guide outline. I was also asked to write down what I learned from the mock session and what I would do better, reasons why I wanted to work at AnswerLab and share some information about my personality. (Not a personality test or quiz, just a general "tell us about you at work and at play.") Final interview with Hiring Director and Senior UX Researcher.

Entire interview process was about 2 months First I a screener call, a week later I started interviews with 4 different Senior UXR (spread out into 4 weeks). Finally I was given a case to work on to present (I chose from 3 different prompts). A week later I received the news. Great process!

The usual Research Qs to test research knowledge and the usual "Tell me about yourself". No trick questions

The first interview is with an external recruiter asking all the basic background questions, e.g., which methods are you familiar with, how many user interviews have you conducted, who have you presented to, how would you make a client feel comfortable, etc." This one is pretty dry as they basically just type out your answers verbatim.
The next step is a 30-minute mock usability test of a website of your choosing. You then have 72 hours to prepare a report including an about me, learnings from the process, your mod guide, and an example of prior work.
The third and final step involves two back-to-back interviews with senior researchers. This one is basically just a bunch of behavioral questions. Despite the amount of work involved, everyone I interviewed with was extremely warm and really put me at ease. They take the process seriously and yet aren't at all intimidating.
