I applied through college campus. The campus hiring process includes-
1) Shortlisting from the resumes.
2) Round 1 – HR Screening round
3) Round 2 – Semi-technical interview
4) Round 3 – Technical Round
My resume was shortlisted on the basis of the Projects mentioned in the resume. The shortlisted students needs to face further interview Process via Web Cam. The interview process was completely unprofessional, the interviewer starts asking about projects and technical questions in HR screening round.
Basic questions related to OOPs concepts and core Java were asked like Operator Overloading, Types of Relationships and Interfaces.
After completing the HR Screening round me and my mates were waiting for the results of HR Screening round, as this round includes elimination too. Then we all come to know that none of us have cleared the 1st round, they gave us silly excuses to our TPO head like internship is mandatory to qualify, your college students have not used any frameworks, mismatch in technologies they know and we work upon blah blah...
We all have mentioned the technologies we worked on in the resume, if that doesn't match their job profile then why they shortlisted our resumes.
Moreover how one can judge the knowledge of a student just by asking questions like Tell me something about yourself, Hobbies etc etc.
Personally I don't like the interview process...
