It first started with a call from a recruiter, who vetted me out and said he would give me a call in the same week to schedule an interview. I had to follow up with them for 2 weeks, only to receive a call from someone else to book an interview because the recruiter went on vacation. Fast Forward to the interview, I met with a very rigid Proposal Manager, who couldn't break a smile. Simple interview questions were asked, and then I was told that I would be provided a skills assessment test. I waited for over 20 minutes for the test and did not receive it. I then made a follow up call to the Proposal Manager and left a voice message. 2 hours after the interview, I received a call from HR who made several excuses as to why I was rejected, each excuse contradicted questions I asked the recruiter in the past. For example: there was not enough time to train someone with your skill level given the crunch time (note: I have 4 years of experience), even though when I asked the recruiter in our initial phone call about the training that would be provided, I was told that it would be extensive for 3 to 6 months. Far too many contradictions. A very unprofessional experience overall.

Very uptight proposal manager who didnt make me feel comfortable at all. The BD manager was nicer. They made me do a test the first time, called me for a second interview and hadnt even bothered to check the test. They wasted a lot of time in between and had no real answer when I asked them what the general path to grow in the role was. The recruiter didnt bother giving me an update till I finally followed up on my own.
