That interview process took place over several phases: written interview, assignment, video assignment and live video interview. I appreciated the asynchronous nature of the first few rounds; the assignments are a way to test out potential team members, but assignment interviews can be problematic from an equity standpoint. I made it to the final round of interview but was not given an offer. A candidate with more years of experience was offered the role.
