This company was about a 3/5 in relation to the interview process, however it was quite long, drawn out, and unpredictable. There were 4 stages to this process which I felt was too long and some stages were completely unnecessary such as a very unhelpful PPA assessment which the recruitment team thought would show how a person works, I think is deceiving to base a person on this type of assessment.
One of the stages involved a dreaded brief to complete which should be cut from any interview process, as ones experience and portfolio is what recruiters need to go off and not make candidates waste time by doing free work.
You were asked to present your design brief and was asked many questions which was not communicated to candidates prior to the interview.
There were a few personal questions asked which was inappropriate and there was confusion based on telling a candidate they had good experience, to tell the candidate they didn't have enough experience which caused a sense of scepticism.
