Was reached out to by recruiter 2 weeks after submitting resume. Recruiter asked about my qualifications. She interrupted me TWICE during our conversation to put me on hold for a few minutes to “deal with a fire drill” from an executive who was hovering over her desk. When I asked if that was normal, she came back and started complaining about lack of respect. After hearing my qualifications, she started rushing me explaining I would have to take a test next (which is fine). I stopped her and asked if I could ask her a few questions because I still wasn’t sure I understood the role or the organization this role reported into or managed. She huffed like I was being annoying, but let me ask two. All I learned during that is that every employee there thinks the CEO is a micro manager. The role has been posted for 5 months now - not surprised they haven’t been able to fill. WORST INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE EVER.
