Initially, I was very delighted to be reached out by a legendary civil & human rights group that has a lasting legacy in the U.S. The interview process was going fine until I noticed by they were "restructuring"... the entire process after the 1st interview became very unprofessional & a waste of time. At the end, they tried to change the type of roles I was interviewing for, which also threw me off. I really hope no one else has my experience. It was 3 months of interviewing thinking I had it in the bag, only to get a rejection nearly 2 months after. After dealing with their massive unprofessionalism, an offer could have been extended, but I think it's a blessing in disguise to avoid an organization that is falling apart structurally.
