My experience with Emerson Group Hungary, who were hiring for the NI office in Yerevan, was disappointing overall. The process began when a recruiter reached out to schedule an initial interview. The first stage was fairly standard, involving common questions about my background and experience.
While the recruiter was polite and friendly, there was a noticeable lack of basic information regarding the office they were hiring for. They were unable to provide general details about the NI office’s location in Yerevan, which raised early concerns about the organization and communication within the hiring team.
Additionally, the job announcement clearly mentioned a hybrid work model, but during the interview, it became evident that the role was mainly on-site. This kind of inconsistency between the job description and the actual expectations is unprofessional and misleading for candidates.
After the interview, I was assigned a technical task by the Talent Acquisition Business Partner with a 5-day deadline. I completed and submitted the task on time, but after that, I never heard back from them. Not even a confirmation that they had received my submission.
Overall, this was one of the poorest communication experiences I’ve encountered in a recruitment process. The lack of follow-up and transparency left a very negative impression.
