I Interviewed for this company starting from the HR department and eventually started the technical challenge which was extremely easy. I was asked to implement a “quotes” application where I was supposed to fetch quotes and render them on the page. The data was coming from a node service running with docker and the front end was pure react. Regrettably, the assessment process employed by the company appeared to lack technical prioritization or appreciation for the deliverables that I presented. The rejection of my solution was based on a checklist of critiques, including the following - No documentation - No configuration management - Νο separation of components implementation and API calls - No separation of CSS and HTML code - Complicated implementation that can be avoided Although they provided me with this list, they did not expand on any of the topics and did not schedule a meeting to discuss further. The worst part of the interview process was the fact that they avoided scheduling a video call to discuss things like questions, soft skills, minor tweaks that should have been done etc. Bad experience overall but I’m sure it’s a great company to work for based on other reviews I’ve seen.
