I applied for the Fresh Java Developer position at ProgressSoft and completed the required task. Then they called me for the technical interview, which turned out to be a very negative experience. The interviewer’s approach was unclear and unhelpful, making it feel like I was trying to read his mind rather than showing my knowledge. At one point, he even said something like, "Oh, you didn’t think I would ask normal Java questions," which felt quite disrespectful. Despite this, I was called for an HR interview. The HR team was professional, and the conversation went smoothly. However, I was rejected. Overall, it felt like a month of wasted time. I also feel that their criteria for choosing female candidates are not the most fair or professional.
