Similar to the experiences of other candidates, I met with the head of the department, who showed up nearly 10 minutes late. When he finally joined the call, there was no apology at all like it was normal. We briefly talked about the company and a bit about my experience. It seemed like he didn’t prepare at all nor looked at my resume. He mentioned that he would send a take-home assessment (which, based on other reviews, I was not looking forward to), but he never followed through. I also sent a thank-you note afterward and received no response.
