A senior-level person in Engineering posted this job on a women in tech Slack and I reached out about applying. After I submitted an application, we did a 30 minute phone screen and I was then set up for a 1 hour technical interview with a few engineers. I thought the technical interview went well and I thought I had a good conversation with the engineers. But I never heard from them again. Not even to say that they were moving ahead with other candidates. It left a bad impression that a senior-level employee was open to discussing the role, but then I was ultimately ghosted.
