A call with a recruiter followed by a zoom with the CEO. The CEO shared very little about the company and the role, asked a few questions about me and many questions about my familiarity with other product managers, made sure to ask for their name and wrote these down. At some point I got the feeling that he is looking to get a few leads on good professionals. Maybe wasn't sure if to hire a VP of product. He also was a product executive in his former roles. After a few weeks they got back to me to let me know that they decided to proceed with another candidate, but I don't see any VP of Product that joined them. I would be happy to share and recommend former colleagues, team members or friends, but this interview left me confused and somehow used. I wish the company only the best, but I am happy to eventually join another place :-).
