Ghosted after four interviews/ month long process. We had agreed a start date pending reference check. I heard no feedback and my emails were not responded to. Very weird and unprofessional interview process. No questions about my competencies, just 'yeah, you will be able to do the job;' then a lot of interrogations on my personal circumstances, education, etc. Very uncomfortable. The role was changed half way through the process to become a sales role. Felt the whole process was me being on the defensive having to explain myself, very odd. Insisted on calls with my two references then never heard a word back.
