I had a great experience applying to Unity. The recruiters I worked with were communicative, transparent, and very friendly. They kept me updated every step of the process and always answered my emails right away. The interview process itself was difficult. After the initial phone screen with the recruiter, I had a short zoom call with the hiring manager. I was then sent an assignment to complete at home (around 2 hours), met with 3 different groups of people (other writers, project managers, and the hiring manager again), and had my reference checked (2 managerial references and 2 colleague references). Overall it took around 7 weeks from me to receive my offer after the initial call with the recruiter. While the process was long and difficult, everyone I met and talked with was lovely. The panel interviews were more like a casual conversation and I felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. It was clear that they all enjoyed working at Unity and they made the work culture and environment sound really appealing and exciting.
