Listen to our Inclusion & Diversity Lead Ebony Jones talk about her 16-year career journey at Accenture Federal Services, why she loves our open and unique culture, and so much more.
Last Friday, we celebrated International Women’s Day and we’re proud to celebrate the amazing achievements, strength, and resilience of women across the world. At Accenture Federal Services, we gathered in person with our Metro D.C, San Antonio, and St. Louis colleagues to commemorate the day with sessions dedicated to collaboration, self-discovery and community.
Earlier this year, we hosted our first 2024 town hall – and what a production it was! We welcomed colleagues who gathered at watch parties in DC, St Louis, and San Antonio plus thousands more who tuned in for the live broadcast. CEO John Goodman kicked off with inspiration behind five things we’re prioritizing to bring the best of Accenture Federal Services to our clients and our people – convergence, collaboration, community, care, and commitment. COO Ron Ash shared insight into investments we’re making to grow our portfolio of secure, purpose-built assets and accelerators (like FedGPT). CLO Elaine Beeman updated everyone on new employee experience tools and resources to help our people grow and advance, and spotlighted creative ideas from Patricia Ware on making recognition and feedback a habit. Our town hall wrapped up with cameos featuring Scott Levine and Jenele Williams-Garcia, MBA sharing the latest tools and resources to help prioritize wellness and mental health. As always, colleagues from across the company (this time from DC to Hawaii) shared stories about how they are using tech and ingenuity to help clients take on big challenges – from national security to healthcare. And shout-out to Andrea Rey for taking part in a “fast four” feature – it’s great to introduce awesome colleagues to our audience of everyone! Thanks to everyone who helped make this great moment happen.
